Desperate Ways to Possibly Drive Up Blog Traffic

It was interesting how I came across this idea to help my little fledgling blog here that I don't tend to as frequently as I should. A Facebook friend had posted about how a cop who had pulled him over took a picture of his license plate. The friend had been driving 80 in a 45 but honestly hadn't seen a sign for the speed limit, and had just moved to the sunshine state. The cop didn't give him a ticket, just said "Welcome to Florida" and snapped the picture of his license plate for his wife.

What made the license plate so cop snapping worthy? Here were the letters: "NOMRWIF" which sadly took me longer to figure out than it took my mother. My friend said that he got a kick out of people always stopping to take pictures of it.

And BOOM. An idea hit. Maybe it won't get me famous or even "famous" enough to have a cop snap a picture of it, but you never know. Every little silly idea might be the thing that actually works.

Here's my idea: A large car magnet with my picture and the website address to my blog. When I have better cash flow I'll eventually get two. Luckily, we have a white SUV that will complement the red and black colors and white lettering of the picture I want to use.

But would love to get some feedback on what some of you might think.

The site that I came across was stickeryou.com and they make stickers as well. I didn't even know that car magnets existed, I believe what I typed in was bumper stickers, which sorry, but sometimes they can be a little bit tacky. I love the freedom that comes with a magnet that you can slap on and peel off.
