The next book that I'm going to be working on is a poetry book that I put on the back burner of my mind for a little while. This book is going to be somewhere around 100 pages and will include an excerpt of another close to finished non-fiction title, that has been waiting in the wings.
The images that I selected from Dreamstime.com have not been paid for just yet, I will be buying them soon. I just wanted to get an idea of how the text and my poem would look on the images themselves, before I completely pulled the trigger on them. I felt that the back cover image of the branching hand could not have been more perfect for this poem that includes "branching hands". It is as though it was meant to be.
Most of my images end up coming from Dreamstime.com although I think I have used a few in some mockups that were from free image sites as well.
This may also be the first book that I decide to go for the glossy finish cover, instead of the matte finish that I usually select. But I may change my mind on that. I'm also going to be pricing this book around $4.99 or $5.99 I haven't decided just yet.
